30-Day Declutter Challenge: Day 28

I looked under my kitchen sink cabinet, low and behold, I found tons of plastic bags that I shove in my cabinet after all those shopping treks. Perfect for today's declutter, day 28. Sometimes decluttering items are literally right in your face. I opened my cabinet, these bags, rolled out each time I opened my cabinet. Annoying, now I immediately bag them up and place in a recycle bin. Of course I kept a few to have on hand. I already have standard canvas bags for grocery runs. So, remember to recycle these bags. 

A good strategy to avoid accumulating more plastic bags is bring your own and decline any bags on your grocery runs. Keep a handy bag everywhere. I would place in my backpack, or in a car's side door so you can grab before heading to the store.

So, on to minimizing your clutter. So no to plastic bags if you can avoid it! 

No to accepting more plastic bags!
