Starting today, January 1, 2025 , I'll begin my journey to declutter items found in my 450 square foot apartment in San Francisco. It's been something I've always wanted to do. SHOPPING IN THE MORNING The idea of living within your means creates an approach to how you do things; up to the point of when and how you see things. Here's an example, like most people we tend to do our grocery shopping after work or on weekends. This is the time when it's most convenient. However, I recently tried a different approach. You know life throws everyone a curve ball. For example, you may not be with the person of your dreams forever, or your may not live in the best neighborhood to really live your life. If your 30 or 50 years old, you can always make lemonade from lemons. So, I did just that, I moved out last month and manage to find a "somewhat" affordable place to live in the city. It just so happen it's one of the most expensive U.S. cities in the country, San Francisco. But everything is here minus less guns and more arts and culture. Not to say the other parts of the country doesn't but walking distance to many of these places is priceless. You get to play tourist everyday if you so choose. Who wouldn't? It's never really easy to part with some things you love, but having too much of a good thing can be bad or not worthwhile. Sadly, these must go! Water bottle, don't we have enough? DIY. Tank Lever. Upgrade.

I walked into the Out of the Closet thrift store where proceeds benefits AIDS Healthcare Foundation . Before I always find something that is functional and useful for myself or the apartment. Today, I scored in a great find. A decorative tank lever from MOEN, brushed nickel. The box had all of it's contents to replace my other lever. It helps to mix things up in a bathroom setting. Instructions for Install After - MOEN, Banbury Y2601BN Brushed Nickel, Decorative Tank Lever Paid a mere, $6 for this item usually costing about $20 on Amazon . It's great to shop local and use what is available that is walking distance from the apartment. Always make effort to find something that can be used not for the sake of just getting an item. When I move out I can always change out to the original parts and take this one with me. Glad I found this one to help me with a little bit of DIY on a Sunday afternoon!
